Fold Equity

Equity – All active hands have equity in the pot. Equity is each players share of the pot based on how often they expect to win in a showdown. Even though an opponents hand is unknown, their range of hands had equity too. You can visualise this by thinking of the pot as a pie. Each player’s equity represents their current share of that pie.
